35mandatory and optional modifications for both the cold and warm boot paths.

46effort. Each platform port can override them with its own implementation if the

76A platform port must enable the Memory Management Unit (MMU) as well as the
77instruction and data caches for each BL stage. Setting up the translation
78tables is the responsibility of the platform port because memory maps differ

2137by the compiler are not used. The software is built with the `-nostdinc` flag
2138to ensure no headers are included from the toolchain inadvertently. Instead the
2139required headers are included in the ARM Trusted Firmware source tree. The
2140library only contains those C library definitions required by the local
2141implementation. If more functionality is required, the needed library functions
2142will need to be added to the local implementation.

2174layer is used to load data from non-volatile platform storage.

2196IO operations are called. The basic operations supported by the layer

2200operations such as loading a bootloader image.

2215The abstraction currently depends on structures being statically allocated
2216by the drivers and callers, as the system does not yet provide a means of
